Our inspiration: A legacy of love
The name Native Touch was my wife's idea, a full-blooded Apache born and raised in Mescalero, New Mexico. We would design jewelry together, and I continue our tradition, creating pieces from the many designs she left. She was my college sweetheart and my inspiration. We married right after graduation. She crossed over into the promised land in November of 2025. She was closely related to the famous Geronimo and the famous scout Chato.
Uniquely sourced turquoise with a rich history
What makes our turquoise jewelry truly unique is its provenance. Most of our turquoise was mined from the 1950s to the early 1980s. Much of this material was post-marked on buckets from L.W. Hardy, Kingman, Arizona, and shipped to Sunbell Corp., Albuquerque, New Mexico. The haul was in excess of 10,000 pounds, which a personal friend purchased in the 90s. This is the very best of that material, as I was personally able to sort it and keep the finest for the jewelry we are now manufacturing.
